The watch brand Concord, which is part of the Movado Group Inc, is doing what many other luxury watch companies have already done; create or expand their presence in the Middle East. Concord had just opened its first exclusive shop-in-shop showroom in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Having already been in this market for 30 years, Concord is assuming a more exclusive presence and bringing special attention to its C1 Collection and the CLab Series.

Concord has been very active lately in the development of technologically advanced watches, such as the CLab Series, which have won awards worldwide. The C1 Tourbillon Gravity, launched during Baselworld in 2008, won the favorite Design Watch of the Year during the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève awards which took place in November of 2008.

For this holiday season, Concord made a mere 10 exclusive C1 QuantumGravity timepieces, and is the latest model of the CLab Series Collection. The C1 QuantumGravity, has been nominated for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie 2009 (pictured here).

Collections of Concord watches include the Chronograph, Big Date, Jewelry, Worldwide and C Lab Series among others.

Concord was founded in 1908 and acquired by Movado in the early 1970’s.
