The Tissot SEA-Touch

Tissot makes under watch maneuvering even easier, with the release of their new SEA-Touch watches.  The SEA-Touch timepieces, from Tissot offer water resistance to a depth of 200 meters, and they feature Tissot’s famous T-Touch technology.  The SEA-Touch is presented with 10 unique functions, which range from specified diving functions to those, which can be used in a dryer climate.  Some of the dive functions include a dive depth indicator, diving speed indicator, a compass, a thermometer, and a diving log book.  All of the SEA-Touch’s functions are activated, with the use of T-Touch Technology.  The touch sensitive glass is what transmits the actions to the watch. 

Of course, the SEA-Touch offers many of the traditional features, such as an alarm, a perpetual calendar, a time zone indicator, and a digital chronograph.  The new watch from Tissot is also equipped with a backlit dial, which has a luminescent face.

Tissot Is A Hit At Baselworld 2010

Tissot is a name that has always stood for excellent performance, and in 2010 that reputation will live on.  Tissot had a strong presence at the 2010 Baselworld convention.  Baselworld is the largest watch fair in the world.  This is where all the famous watchmakers show off their new products, and Tissot did not disappoint.  

They set up their unique monolith shaped stand and the visitors piled in.  Tissot promoted their wide array of new products, but they also used this opportunity to plug their new ad campaign.  The new global advertising campaign features their Ambassadors and is shot in artistic black and white.  It is designed to bring the Tissot name to a new, untapped market, but Tissot’s main goal at Baselworld was to show off some of their new innovative creations, like the Tissot Veloci-T.  These men’s and ladies timepieces are equipped with a revolutionary movement.  Taking 3 decades to develop, this movement has earned Tissot the recognition of offering the best priced Swiss made automatic chronograph…precision and value you can’t beat that. 

Of course Tissot has roots in NASCAR, MotoGP, and other fast-paced sports but at the Baselworld show they let their softer side peak through.  Tissot presented the ultra-feminine Tissot Lady Heart and Tissot Lovely.  These women’s watch elegantly pair style and precision, with a beautiful outcome.

The Tissot Heritage 2009, Stylish

This new approach by Tissot utilizes their brand Ambassadors to present their luxury watch line as accessible to all, rather than portraying the company as exclusive to the elite. The photos are shot in artistic black and white, by renowned fashion photographer, Jeff Burton and they give off a unique feel.
Tissot has spent years establishing a reputation as the “Innovators by tradition”, and that philosophy is echoed in this new, fresh campaign. Tissot Watches

Qatar will be represented by 13 men and 7 women , all of whom home to compete in the 2013 World Fencing Championships.  The Qatar Fencing Federation (QFF) just signed a four-year agreement with Swiss Timing, the parent company of Tissot watches, who will sponsor this event for the next 4 years.

Tissot watches has been with the Qatar Fencing Federation since the competition got started in 2004, and their expertise has been an enormous help to the event.

Participating countries include Canada, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Iraq, Ukraine, Norway, Netherlands, South Africa, Malaysia, Nigeria, Poland Korea, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, China, Sweden, Japan, Israel, Belarus, Italy, and of course – Qatar.  Tissot watches is looking to reach a global audience through their sponsorship of this event, which will be broadcast in many countries around the world and in several languages.

In keeping with their mission to create a high-performance, precision timepiece, Tissot Watches continues to award a watch and $5,000 to the racer who spends the least amount of time with his crew in the pit, hence the title, “Pit Road Precision”.

In October 2009, Jimmie Johnson claimed his watch, after winning the Pit Road Precision title as well as the Sprint Cup. For finishing second in the lead lap and staying with his crew for just over 329 seconds, Johnson claimed one of the coveted Tissot watches and a check for $5,000.

Jeff Gordon, in another round for Tissot watches, claimed a watch and prize money for spending the shortest amount of time in the pit lane in his recent performance at the Pepsi 500 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.

Driving his number 24 Hendrick Motorsports car, he too won the Pit Road Precision title for spending the shortest amount of time (just over 295 seconds) in the pit during the race. Gordon scored another victory recently by being named as one of the 50 greatest drivers by Nascar.
